Hi Geff,
Door card is the British term for "inner door panel." Yes, the window 
switch mounts onto it and the armrest/door pull mounts through it. It is 
made of a heavy cardboard like material (hardura?) covered in vinyl. On 
P6/P6B it is held at the top by the door capping and around the edges by 
trim clips that press into the steel door frame (to which the the outer 
door skin also attaches). A shorter answer would have just been "Yes."
