Thanks for the information. One of the springs looks to be an after market
but the other original looks to have lost its temper and all the bushings
are in poor shape. I have ordered some Series Land Rover bushings that I
think can be ctu down in length and should work but to have original is
always the better rout. I may try to have these rebuilt as you say at a
spring shop. One side of the car sat over 2 inches higher that the other and
the adjusters could not take it out.

           Try Mike Couldry at meteorss at hotmail.com He is in the UK so
shipping may be a problem, but he deals in all pre 1950 Rovers.

Do you want new or used?  You can get the old springs reset at any spring
shop.
