Are you aware that the P6 uses three different sized of Furflex? Perhaps you only got the small size. Now I can't recall if the U clip part was a different size, or if it was just the half round of foam on top.

Making you own is quite easy, the tricky bit is finding a material to match the fur. I couldn't find a good match when I tried many years ago and ended up using a velvet, which wore away in just a few months. But then again, I only went to one fabric store, it was long before I got picky about the authenticity of things.
