[Rovernet] UK SD1 V8 engine ECU?

My elders have advised me that if I really want more thrust for my
smog-throttled US version, that the UK ECU would help.  I looked briefly on
eBay.uk, and found lots of them, but they seem newer.  I assume that the ECU
is 80-86 vintage.  Any ideas on sources?
