I'm very interested in the Rostyle rims if they are 14"x 5.5"x 5"PCD!

Hi Nelson,

Do you have a TC ignition switch/keys that fits into the dash vice
steering column?

What do you want for a TC cylinder head with valves/springs? Any guess
what shipping would be for that head?

Thanks,
Gross Scruggs

Charles, would you have any gearshift parts for a Mk II, and the clutch
return bracket and spring? I can get part numbers if you need.

I hope I'm submitting this correctly. We've just come across BOXES of
old Rover saloon spares, mostly for P5s & 6s. Lots of weird stuff like
NOS tachs, radiator hoses, power steering pump, V-8 camshaft and
crankshaft, all NOS Genuine Rover, from an old dealer we bought out
almost 30 years ago.
Tail lamp ass'ys for a P5. Lamps, switches, motifs, switches. Oh, and
I've also parted out a 1962? P5 saloon so I still have boot lid, rear
glass, radiator, dash, engine bits, etc. etc.

Hello Rovernet,
Here is a promotional leaflet of the Triplex Rover P6 glass roof. I
recently fitted one of these glass roof panels, from the rain gutters up
to my '70 3500S. James Radcliffe flew over to visit for the weekend and
we made a project of it. I will include some photos of my own car as
well.
Sincerely, Garrett Bourque

Hello Rovernet,
The brochure shows a photo of the headliner being black, instead of
the tan color that is shared by most P6 cars. I used the original tan
material, from my car's whole roof headliner. I removed it from my
car's frame and recovered the shaped headliner panel that installs
around the edge of the glass. It was quite a job, but it worked!

Hello Rovernet,
I am unclear if this glass roof option was offered in the USA or not.
Kent Kinard sold me this roof panel, with the glass already installed.
He told me that he rescued the roof from a friend's 2000. James and I
removed my 3500S roof, the front and rear glass, and the headliner
before reinstalling the roof panel with the shaped safety glass already
fitted.
Next, I reinstalled the newly redone headliner around the edge of the
glass and last I put in the front and rear glass. I was chewing on my
fingernails trying to decide if I should embark on this project of not,
but it turned out great and has been very well received at several car
shows that I have attended with the car! Garrett

Hello Rovernet,
This is the back cover of this 4 page Rover P6 Triplex glass roof
brochure. I scanned the original 4 page brochure and posted it one page
at a time. Please see the other 3 postings. This page covers the fact
that the glass roof has a vinyl cover that can be zipped in to block out
the sun on hot days. For whatever reason, my roof and headliner
assembly does not have any sign of the zipper around the edge of the
glass panel. The round Rover P6 dome light was moved from the center of
the roof to near the back window, as shown in the photo in the top row
of this page. Another photo in this brochure also shows the very early
rear view mirror that has a built in overhead light. This would work
well, considering that there would be difficulty putting one in the
normal location in the center of the roof. My P6B 3500S had the later
rearview mirror, with no dome light, so I kept using that one, since it
mounted to the body of the car differently then the earlier one. I hope
that you all enjoy seeing this unusual item!

Hi Nelson - I have a North American Spec Rover p6 which is missing the
temperature compensation valves and associated pipework from the
carburettors.
Would you or anyone out there in RoverNet land ?happen to have these
valves available?
