Thanks, Ben. That’s another interesting thought to ponder…  I don’t know the model of SU. It is a ’63 NADA, withe engine suffix C. 

I Just found a fuel pressure gauge. 3.1 psi on the fuel delivery, even when it starts getting rough. ALTHOUGH, I have a clear fuel filter installed now after the glass bulb, and I noticed that the amount of fuel in the filter gets progressively less as the engine warms up, to the point where the fuel filter is nearly empty of reserve fuel. The glass bulb which is before it stays full, and the filter is nearly empty. It looks like a drizzle of fuel enters, but maybe 3 psi is not meant to be a great deal of fuel.  

I checked the plugs to see if they were fouled. They were not. Now I need to figure out what to do about a plug that wants to cross-thread. Ugh. Two threads in and it starts to bind.
