[Rovernet] Rover 3L gearshift nylon end

My gearshift has no more of the nylon (?) ball end, so the car shifts as if
spaghetti.  I plan to have one made from 3D printing.  Does anyone know if
the early Land Rover gearshift is the same?  The 3 Litre part number is:
533546
