[Rovernet] I: H4+H4 Headlight Headlamp Black Booster Wire Harness Cable SAYG STGG - good for Rover p6 and MGB?

This looks like a harness that connects to your existing headlamp wiring 
and adds a pair of relays. I don't know if the P6 has relays for the 
headlamps already, but if it does, that would be redundant.

Adding relays for your headlamps in cars that don't already have them is 
a good idea, as it reduces the amount of current traveling through the 
switch. This both reduces the risk of fire and/or a damaged switch, and 
also tends to increase the output of the headlamps by eliminating a fair 
amount of resistance from the circuit.
