[Rovernet] Newbie to list - need help (lots of it)

Hi all, I am a newbie to this list.  Long story short, a friend of mine
bought a Rover P3 6 light (?) I think it is, it has the 6 cyl motor. It was
75% restored when he got it, and it sat for four years with no progress. As
I love restoring old English sports cars as a hobby (still have my TVR,
Morgan, MGTC and Super 7) he asked me if I would get it on the road for him,
being the winter "why not" was my thought.

I was hoping I could conect up with a few guys who have done this, and would
be able to help me when needed, perhaps via regular email as to bombing the
list with questions, of which I have many (thoughts?).

Is this list very active?

The other thing I am after is if anyone knows of any P3 restoration web
sites out there of what others have done I could use as referance.


I have so many box's of parts I don't know where to start!
