[Rovernet] RoveAmerica 2016 "The Tenth Anniversary"

Thanks Michael.

Steven and I did a gentle form of that in the slightly uphill driveway at Thanksgiving time in late November. I’m thinking it may help to run the car through hot and cold cycles. We did let the engine warm up but no on-the-road stress and relaxation cycles.

It’s hard to believe it’s too badly seized because it was fine last June and sat for only six months before it was found to be seized.

Hank

I put 4x2 pieces of wood behind each of the front wheels, and, with the help of another person jacked up the back of the car on the diff with a trolly Jack from the back.Started the car in gear on fast idle with the clutch depressed, my friend dropped the back onto the ground. The clutch either broke free or with the clutch still depressed the car ran forward and the back wheels bounced over the two pieces of wood braking free as it bumped over the blocks of wood.I have done this in both a P4 & P6. P.S not too high revs.
