Hi Ben,
I, too, had a 62 F85, but it was a Jetfire...a lovely hand grenade. The
Olds and Buick came standard with a Rochester 2V or optional Rochester
4-Jet (not a Quadrajet, which was a spread bore carb) The 200HP Skylark
engine was a Buick response to the Jetfire and it had a Carter AFB and
different camshaft. The intake manifold for the Carter also had larger
throttle bores. These early AFB's used a smaller air horn than later AFB's.

If anyone is interested in playing with the Jetfire turbo, I have most
of the parts (turbo, carb, intake manifold) and would part with them for
a nominal sum. It is worth noting that these turbos spool in the
opposite direction from later Buick V6 turbos. I also have a Jetfire
block and heads.

Roverly,
Kent K.
