[Rovernet] Rover 2000 Muffler

Hi Tom. When my P6 rear muffler went, along with the over-the-axle exhaust
pipe, I had to go to a specialty muffler shop. They did an excellent job of
repair and replacement. I now own a P5 and would go back to this shop if I
ever needed muffler work on the car.

Walter.

Rovernetters,

I seem to have a hole in my rear muffler. Are there sources for
purpose-built systems for a 2000TC, or do folks normally bring them to a
local shop to fabricate something?

Tom

Hi Tom,

JR Wadhams has them, just the box or the whole system. He has two
categories?automatic and standard transmission?so look in the sidebar
navigation for the right one. This is the auto page:

http://jrwadhams.co.uk/browse-p6-categories/exhausts-1782918510/exhausts-2000-2200-sc-auto-1966-77/exhaust-box-r75-2000-2200.html

They would be sure to fit, but you would want to compare the cost including
shipping to what a local custom shop could do for you.

Best,

Peter
