I have a 68 2000TC and am wondering what rebuild kits, MG Jaguar etc, work/are available in the states. The master is a 7/8" bore. I need info for the slave as well. What might the part #r's be? supplier?
Thanks

For the clutch slave cylinder you need Beck Arnley 0710251

I do know know the number for the master cylinder. You may want to send the one you have off to get rebuild.
I you buy a new one, beware that there is a clearance issues in left hand drive cars with the air cleaner. Some of the MGB clutch master cylinders I think will work. I have a new one, but I have not fitted it yet.

I purchased a new clutch master cylinder from UK a few years ago. I managed to make it work by installing a piece of silicone tube, to make a fluid reservoir. It works but not that well, as the cap comes off then the fluid slashes out then your clutch goes spongy, then you have to top it up! So you are probably better off rebuilding the one you have.

James.
