I purchased the ball part from JR Wadhams also, for the 3 Litre. I assume
they are the same.

If you mean the spherical seat (part number 571933 (but there is also an
older number), we still have original Rover ones.

Hi Rovernetters -

The pivot plastic socket  on the '71 2000TC broke up today and the lever is
completely dislocated.

Luckily it fell apart while turning into the driveway.

Looks like the plastic socket broke up from old age.  And a used one would
be ready to break up perhaps.

Is this being reproduced anywhere in the world?
