My original 70 radio is exactly as Dermot describes. Its function is somewhat compromised by the lassitude of its owner...it has no speaker!

Hi Tom,

My first TC was a 1966 with Dunlops . It was white with blue sail panels and went like hell!
I have a working AM/FM radio from a 1969. It is unbranded but possibly a Motorola going by the output transistors. It has the Leyland symbol and “Rover” printed on the dial.

Davis seems to have been a company that imported Japanese radios from OEMs and put their brand on it. The car also came with a paper from the dealer extolling the virtues of this option, and it appears to be a quasi-official Rover choice for a radio.
