You can have the shifter "ball" replaced by purchase from JR Wadhams, he will want yours in exchange. I sold my car and loads of parts to Jim Legg in Northern CA, including many sets of brake rebuild kits, pads, car rebuild kits, etc. Jim might be willing to part with many. His email, jmlegg44 AT yahoo.com. I would recommend Joe Curto in Brooklyn for carb rebuilds, but I think he may have a significant backlog. Good luck!

Hi All:

Mechanic has given me the following list of needed parts. I'd prefer to support folks here who might be suppliers.
1970 Rover 2000TC. US model.

Brakes:
        Rear rotors and pads.
        Rear Calipers (or re-build kits).

Two SU carb rebuild kits

Valve cover gasket

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and points.

Thermostat.

The manual gear shifter is very sloppy and hard to find the gears. Anyone have the bushing or whatever else would need replacing?

Thanks all. I'm struggling to get this car road-worthy by the event in Fitchburg…..

You can reply to me off-line if you prefer to keep the airwaves clear. Robert.ruggeri at suny.edu<mailto:Robert.ruggeri at suny.edu>
