The first question is it a series 2 car.

Actually, these day you just buy the shifter lever outright. There is more than that likely going on, but what to replace depends heavily on which style of shifter remote is on the car, series 1 or series 2.

SU carb kits get from Joe Curto

I sold my car and loads of parts to Jim Legg in Northern CA, including many sets of brake rebuild kits, pads, car rebuild kits, etc. Jim might be willing to part with many. His email, jmlegg44 AT yahoo.com. I would recommend Joe Curto in Brooklyn for carb rebuilds, but I think he may have a significant backlog. Good luck!
