Swamp? Now, Pierre, it wasn't that bad!  ;-) But it was there mainly as
a guide to reassembling the good one.  The rust-free 3500S went to the
UK. I believe the "parts car" went with the solid car, but probably did
not go overseas. I did pull it all the way up the hill and around the
garage an inch at a time using a come-along.

My photos of my initial visit to the P4 are dated '93 by my ancient
camera (which I never trusted), but we think it was 1996 judging by the
photo of my son. I definitely owned it in 2000 because I have an
insurance ID car from that date. I'm going to have to find some more
documents and see when all of that was. Perhaps the Rovernet archives go
back to when I was asking people to go out to Cleveland, Ohio to get
those old P4 parts. Now, my other son and two granddaughters live in
Cleveland, and we may be moving out there before long.

It was at least 15 years ago. Time does fly,and I do lose track.

Pierre, meeting you was one of our (my spouse and myself) most
interesting Rover experiences, and a great memory for us.

Glen
