[Rovernet] Geezers...

My mom will be 93 this month and is otherwise quite healthy, but has dementia. A very difficult situation which in her case (all are different) she doesn't especially "suffer" because in her condition she does not feel the loss, but it is extremely stressful for one of my sisters who has insisted on being her live in caregiver with little outside assistance and at a great distance from other family. Big contrast between my mom's situation and that of another dear friend who is 90, full of life and energy, and now dealing with Covid19 she contracted in-house during hip surgery rehab. As bad as this is for us "junior geezers" it is heartbreaking to be seeing people in their 90s having to live in this Covid world perhaps in their final days, even when healthy, due to the isolation and well considered restrictions.
