Good Evening fellow Rovernetters,

I say Good Evening because it is evening here in Australia where I live. So
wherever you may be I hope you are well and keeping away from the dreaded
lurgy (otherwise known as Covid) and looking after your Rovers.

The reason for my email to you all is to ascertain how many members of this
group own a Rover P4 (or even an earlier Rover). I am currently the Editor
of the Rover P4 Drivers Guild of Australia and I'm on the lookout for
content to publish in our magazines. I believe that the majority of you are
in the USA or Canada but I fear the number of P4s in your countries is
likely to be rather low. I may be wrong but would love to know how many
there are and whether they are road legal and driven on a regular basis.

If you are interested, I would like to hear your stories of ownership
including troubles, repairs, restorations, fixes and photos etc etc. I will
of course distribute to you a .pdf copy of the magazine and if you are in an
owners club (preferably, but not exclusively, Rover) we could exchange
magazines. It's always interesting to see how like minded people organise
themselves and their cars. We have a similar magazine swap scheme with clubs
within Australia and with the Rover P4 Drivers Guild in the UK.

So there you are, I've thrown my line out into the water and now I'll sit
back to see how many nibbles (and hopefully, bites) I get.

Kind Regards,

Ray Wilkins,

Editor, Rover P4 Drivers Guild of Australia
