Lance, this reply comes from the John Keane on the Federal Rovers Group on Facebook:

Maybe you have trapped a needle from the UJ when putting the left half shaft back together ( very easy to do ).
Unbolt the half shaft from the brake disk and with the wheel off the ground check the the shaft can be rotated without any UJ stiffness.
2nd hand Diffs are available through the main suppliers, but I wouldn't think that is the problem. The diffs look the same for the 2000 & 3500 but the ratios are different. The unit is specific to the P6 and not shared with other makes.

All universal joints replaced in past 500 miles, brake calipers rebuilt, disc brake bolts tightened and secured, top and bottom rear shock absorber nuts nice and tight, rebuilt DeDion in past 500 miles etc. etc.

With the gear box in neutral, I rotated each rear wheel and discovered the rear passenger wheel rotated freely, but the left rear would only rotate about 270 degrees before stopping. With some force and I could get it to free up and then continue its 360 rotation.
