[Rovernet] P5 3 litre water pump bearing

Hello all,
Has anyone replaced the water pump bearing on a 3 litre before? I have 
one with a failed bearing causing a metallic rattle noise when running. 
I have ordered a rebuild kit and was wondering if there's a technical 
write up in the archives or helpful tips anyone could share about 
replacing the bearing itself. I expect the fan and pump housing would 
need to be removed.
