Folks, I had my lever shocks rebuilt by White Post, no issues. I was told to avoid Apple Hydraulics. There used to be a really great rebuilder called Sierra Specialties. They rebuilt my wheel cylinders in my A40, P4 and P5. They retired though. Roland Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note8, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

It had been done back in 2009, if memory serves. The only requirement was that I provide a receipt, which I was miraculously able to produce. Other than that, no questions asked. I did have to pay for shipping, so I suppose I could have re-kitted it for less, but it was nice to have someone else do it and avoid the hassle of sourcing the bits.TomOn Nov 19, 2021, at 4:03 PM, Kellogg, Charles via Rovernet <rovernet at rovernet.org> wrote:I had a not-so-great experience with White Post in that I sent them a stepped master cylinder. So they bored one of the steps and then let me know they didn't have the ability to do the 2nd step but they charged me anyway for half the job, which they were unwilling and unable to complete. I suspect their "lifetime warranty" is only for errors in machining or faulty parts, not for things like deterioration over the long term. But I don't have any direct knowledge of that. Vis a vis Grundy Insurance, for what it may be worth I insure with Hagerty and I'm SUPER pleased with their service. We offer the highest-quality spare parts for the vintage Land -Rover. Our staff is minuscule while the demand for rare and “unobtainable” parts for early Land-Rovers is relentless. While your concern is important to us, our ability to respond to each and every enquiry may be limited and stocks of many items are critically low.. We are primarily a restoration-based enterprise but when we have a surplus of a given  item, we are able to offer excess stocks to our dedicated clients. If your need is urgent, we encourage you to contact us by phone, in person. Leaving a message is rarely effective, so we recommend direct contact. With many buildings full of parts, it is not always easy to locate obscure items, and the process is often time consuming. We hope you understand. Please provide complete details of your exact model including year, wheelbase, which side drive, engine, Country of origin, etc. When giving part numbers, please also state the catalogue number (typically found on the front cover).  We appreciate your understanding and will do all we can to help. Voice 360-866-2254

I'm not sure that is what the Rover name for it is, but it's the valve that the 3 lines go to from the slave that sits next to the servo on the inner wall.I assume that the thing needs to be replaced, I can't imagine that it can be rebuilt.

Suggestions, availability?
? ? Thanks so very much,
