Thanks for sharing guys, the shifting is still pretty long reach but the
ride and comfort is excellent, it might be going to Santa Rosa/San Jose,
California next year. Do you have non-ethanol there David. I have been
driving my friend's diesel VW and truck and I find I tend to drive the P5
the same way, less power but lots of torque. I can roll up a hill in 3rd no
problem and start in 2nd quite often. The 3 litre is solid so we will see
how it lasts, if it fails maybe an electric conversion would be in order.
Nobody knows what it is here in B.C. as well but it gets the comments.
Which Studebaker do you have Roland?
