No. It’s just different.
If all you need is the rear muffler, that’s all I would buy. The centre & rear mufflers are the same for both 2 & 3 box systems.

The biggest shocker was my exhaust system arrived in three days from the UK. Hell, I can't get a letter in Denver posted to Boulder, CO in less than 5 days.
