Tom,Make sure you follow the removal and replacement procedure for the bearing caps. If they're not done in the right order you can overstress the cam and snap it. Its possible that's what has caused your current problem. Whilst in your case,  the removal order is less critical the replacement definitely will be! Regards Alan Francis Sent from my Galaxy
