Hi Bob
To pick up where I left off:
Your best muffler solution is the stainless set from the UK. Though if you aren’t going to drive the car a great deal, mild steel is cheaper. The SS system has a rep for being “tinny” whatever that means, but I wouldn't pay much attention to that. The stock three can system is pretty quiet, but it is a 1960’s car.
The throttle issue sounds more like bad SUs/badly setup SUs. What year is the car? Is looks to be 2000TC MkII.
The working bits of the signal light are identical to the MGB, but I’m not sure you can get all amber lenses.
Yours
Vern

Shop says all the gauges were working OK at one point, but the “voltage stabilizer” they put in from Moss isn’t working right. The voltage to the circuit is bad or wrong. Shop assumed that the P6 voltage is “the same as other British cars”. How much should it be? Does Rover have its own voltage stabilizer??

But before I go through all that, how quiet is a stainless exhaust on this car? Anybody have a really quiet exhaust on their P6 and, if so, where’d they get it?
