Sounds to me they pulled the instrument cluster and never reconnected wires
or the speedo cable afterwards. The later tacho should work fine with the
pertronix module. I concure with others on here that this shop seems over
its head with this project.

Bell makes a stainless exhaust system for the 2000TC (I have one fitted to
my car). It sounds good and isn't too loud. Most Series II cars such as
yours should have the 'can' system and sound fine. Wins sell them
