[Rovernet] 1975 2200 TC

 Are you sure this is really a 2200TC. The chassis number indicates, I believe, that it was one of the 2000TC models which were still produced for the Italian market after the introduction of the 2200TC because of taxation issues in Italy. LHD export 2200TC models had a 492 prefix. I am also not sure that Cameron Green was available as late as 1975.

When I was an engineering student in London, I saw the new P6s in 1966 and was hooked on the design. I bought my first P6 in 1968 in Toronto Canada and loved that car more than any since. When I retired, I saw a restored 1975 P6 at an exotic car dealership in Brescia Italy and couldn’t resist buying it and shipping it to Toronto. The car is a Cameron Green 2200 TC, Export LHD / Italy, VIN# 86800491E which I have driven a few hundred mile since buying it. Aside from engine and transmission oil changes and a new battery, I have done nothing to the car.
