Subject: '75 Rover TC 2000 (exported to Italy) Relay Question/Oil Light Question
Hello from Chilliwack, BC
An -odd duck ’75 Rover TC 2000 badged with a factory-installed 2200 engine.
1. According to schematics the oil sending switch wire (not gauge) should be brown with a white tracer…
Instead, in photo (not particularly clear) the existing wire is blue with a white tracer…
Checked that oil light bulb is not burned out…so bulb itself is OK…
So, assume when ignition is turned on the dash oil light should come on. Doesn’t at this stage…and no power through the existing blue wire with white tracer…
1. Photo of a “relay” on the passenger’s side (LHD) inner fender...unsure what this relay does...everything works on the vehicle except for the dash light...
Any thoughts...
Regards, Fred Lemna
