Being at least the third owner of my 1966 Rover 2000TC (suffix A) I don't know if the car came with Rostyles or not, however, I know the hubs can have two different size studs. My car has the larger stud size and is the last model using the Dunlop calipers and the only model that has the 7 inch Servo used on Girling equipped cars I read this was done only for a few of the early cars like mine. The five bolt pattern I measured has a 4.75 inch bolt circle diameter of 4.75 inch. The spare in the boot is mounted on a Rostyle wheel as well. I know what a Magstar looks like but not the Magnum is the Magnum similar to the Rostyle? If they look the same what is the difference? Please educate me.<br>

Bingo! My friend, you have Magnum wheels. They look all but identical to the Rostyles. One last question: is your tachometer & clock in a single housing to the right of the speedo, or is the clock and tach in separate housings, with the tach housing looking a bit pedestrian? If they are separate you do indeed have a very early car.<br>

It seems I learn something new about my Rover every day, the clock and Tach are in separate housings! I believe this was the 189 th Rover 2000TC imported per the vehicle chassis number. Tell me more about the Magnun wheels versus the Rostyles are the bolt patterns different?<br>

Bingo! My friend, you have Magnum wheels. They look all but identical to the<br>
Rostyles. One last question: is your tachometer & clock in a single housing to<br>
the right of the speedo, or is the clock and tach in separate housings, with the<br>
tach housing looking a bit pedestrian? If they are separate you do indeed have a<br>
very early car.<br>

If the wheels and hubs are 4.75, they are not Rostyles, they are Magnum<br>
500. Easy way to tell the difference: Rostyles are riveted. Magnum<br>
500s are welded construction. If your centers are welded to the rims,<br>
they are Magnum 500. Otherwise, it is difficult to tell the<br>
difference. They look very much alike from the front side.<br>
4.75 inch bolt circle, welded construction, and larger studs mean Magnum<br>
500. Congratulations. You have the rare ones.<br>

I have a 66 w. Dunlops, single Girling booster(although I do have a<br>
Dunlop booster) and later style Tacholmeter installation, but I think it<br>
came with Magstars. It is a rusty hulk, but now I'm going to have to<br>
check the bolt circle. It's been in the back pasture for fifteen years<br>
or more. I like the Dunlop brakes, but setting them up is a special skill.<br>
