<td valign="top">Thanks for the helpful info from all who responded to my plea for a warm 3500S this winter.<BR>After perusing your suggestions, I spent $5 on a right angled heater hose adapter to replace the vacuum valve and - Voila! - I have heat!<BR>Of course, it is the on/off variety that Geoff McCarthy has, but, hey, it's winter. If we get a warm day, I'll just roll the windows down!<BR>Last night I was driving in 35 degree temps, and I was toasty warm with the fan on medium. So I guess the used vacuum valve was the culprit after all.
