<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The lock is attached to the decker panel, you can reach the bolt holding the latch bar, remove it and the bar can be removed. If you don\u2019t mind not using the lock, that
will fix it up for you. If you do want to use the lock, it\u2019s possible but very fiddly to remove, put the bar back on and reinstall. At that point you\u2019d really want to remove the decker panel. However, that opens up an entirely new set of issues to deal with.
In this photo, the lock is unlatched. It\u2019s the bottom most hex that you undo. The actual filler assembly is behind <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
