PPPS...!  I do not think that the radio is an 8-track.  It looks like an
ordinary AM-FM radio.  8-track tape recorders, designed by Bill Lear, were
the contemporary solution to more time on tape.  The cartridges were the
size of a small computer tablet, almost as big as the radio in this picture.
