[Rovernet] Lots of parts and a car for sale

	Hi Again Roverneters, 


	            So glad to be back on the
Rovernet. My name is Peter McArdle , living in Sag Harbor NY and a long
time Rover person including being a dealer for Leyland and other Rover
dealer affiliations . 


	             I purchased a rather
large inventory of Rover parts from the NYC dealer subdistributor about
15 years ago and now need the room where the parts are stored. There are
25 plus cases of parts and some loose parts. About half are accurately
inventoried and with a little time I could do the rest . 


	            Most parts are for P5, P6 and
P6b with a few older Land Rover parts. Most are rare parts I have not
seen available in a long time if ever at all. The NYC dealer purchased a
large part of the parts inventory from Leyland in NJ and these are the
parts I purchased from them. 


	            I am anxious to sell the entire
inventory rather than individual parts and needless to say the price for
all would be much lower than for the individual parts.  I will
forward to anyone asking a copy of the parts lists as they exist now and
we can talk at that time. Putting these lists together will take a week
or so but I am presently working on it.


	           I could also be persuaded
 possibly to sell my 1970 P6b  parts car with about 65K miles
on it. I used this car on and off for a few years and all worked great .
Interior is  good , mechanicals are fine . ( Not run in 5 years)
Body needs a complete redo or part out a very good car. I purchased the
car from the original owner. Car is dark green with black interior.
   


	           I really hope to give the Rover
folks out here first shot at all the parts as I have done a few times in
the past when I came across something interesting before I put them on
Ebay or the like.
