Hi Bill,
GM Synchromesh Fluid from your GM dealer...Redline has a similar 
product...viscosity of ATF and film strength of 90W...best of both worlds.
Flush trans with kerosene by filling and running through the gears while 
car is up on stands (no load).

Talk to Woody at The Wedge Shop about a trans rebuild...about $1100 plus 
freight.
