Dear freinds, I must cover a roof with new vinyl.

Please which material do you use?

Where do you buy it?
any address?

And the glue?

And to end, did someone do it himself?

I wonder if it is difficult or not.

Best regards and thanks in advance!

Ciao, best regards, Gianluca.

Hi:

My wheels are welded and are now obviously Magnum 500's. I have a NOS 5 inch Dunlop Servo in a box that I bought recently. The car has a 7 inch Girling that the factory introduced on my particular suffix 'A' model model. The car was sold in May 1966 per the records I have. I managed to buy a couple of sets of NOS brake pads two sets of NOS rear brake rotors and a set of NOS rear hand brake pads as well. I have on NOS front Dunlo rotor which looks like it would be easy to copy by machining one from billet steel if the car ever needed front rotors.

I am not sure I am blessed or cursed having a rare early version of a Rover NADA 2000TC. The surprises never end...

When they introduced the combined tach & clock housing, it was offered as a kit to upgrade the A suffix TCs. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that the dealer upgraded the car on their lot to bring it into line with the B cars they had received as well. And the Magstars would make sense in that scenario as well, as it would be much cheaper than fitting the Magnums.

I owned a 66 TC a long time ago, before I knew much about them. In hindsight, while it was least one of the first “A” TCs it had other features (under dash lamps, Dunlop booster and master cylinder, black steering wheel, steel wheels for a start) that make me think it was more of a production prototype that they sold on rather than ship it back to Britain. Long ago lost the paperwork for it so we’ll never know it’s serial number.

Further tidbit: The Dunlop system started out with a Dunlop master cylinder, but changed to a Girling cylinder around May of 66. I don’t know when they changed to the Girling booster.

Yours
Vern

Easy way to tell the difference: Rostyles are riveted. Magnum 500s are welded construction. If your centers are welded to the rims, they are Magnum 500.
Otherwise, it is difficult to tell the difference. They look very much alike from the front side.

Congratulations. You have the rare ones.

booster) and later style Tacholmeter installation, but I think it came with Magstars. It is a rusty hulk, but now I'm going to have to check the bolt circle. It's been in the back pasture for fifteen years or more. I like the Dunlop brakes, but setting them up is a special skill.

know if the car came with Rostyles or not, however, I know the hubs can have two different size studs. My car has the larger stud size and is the last model using the Dunlop calipers and the only model that has the 7 inch Servo used on Girling equipped cars I read this was done only for a few of the early cars like mine. The five bolt pattern I measured has a 4.75 inch bolt circle diameter of
4.75 inch. The spare in the boot is mounted on a Rostyle wheel as well. I know what a Magstar looks like but not the Magnum is the Magnum similar to the Rostyle? If they look the same what is the difference? Please educate me. Lou -----Original Message----- From: Alan Francis <partviking1 at gmail.com> To:
