[Rovernet] Rovernet Digest, Vol 31, Issue 9

I agree with several others that s Facebook page could be a valuable adjunct to the existing Rovernet and Rover Car Club of Canada website.
I see the website as an international presence for North American Rover owners, but has limitations on helping our small, if not tiny, group of enthusiasts in keeping their cars running or getting the Rover name known. 
I see Rovernet as a useful way of adking questions and getting help but it is a closed group, somewhat akin to an "old boys club", and find scrolling through endless quotes tiring at times before coming to the next small new reply.
Facebook sites do allow more presence as when we add or share something to the site, our "friends" can see that we have posted to the site and may go to the site to see what Rovers are all about.
Our Rover community in North America gets smaller every year, and if more people are intrigued by our cars, may see more ownership and restoration.
Lastly, our cars, Federal and NADA, are unique in the International Rover community. The only other site I am aware of promoting this uniqueness is Andries website, federalrovers.com. A Facebook site, with ability to post pics and videos will only enhance knowledge of our special vehicles.
