The Series I bonnet for the 2000 is basically "smooth" so to speak. The
3500S Federal had three functional hood scoops, so there would be three
holes. The Series II bonnet had what you might call "power bulges" but
no holes or scoops.
Very few Series II cars were sold in the USA in the last year or so that
Rover 2000s were imported here.
Someone refresh my memory, but wasn't the Series II bonnet a little bit
longer at the forward end, or was that just a trim issue?
