BOB, THE SOLUTION IS TO HAVE SOMEONE WORK ON THE CAR WHO DOESN'T MAKE
EXCUSES TO COVER THEIR LACK OF UNDERSTANDING AS TO HOW THE ORIGINAL
THROTTLE DESIGN CAN BE ADJUSTED [ORR REPAIRED] TO FUNCTION PROPERLY, UNLESS
I MISS MY GUESS. THE THROTTLE LINKAGE AS ORIGINALLY CONFIGURED DIDN'T
MALFUNCTION IN THAT WAY. AGAIN, "THERE ARE MANY MEN WHO HANG OUT THEIR
SHINGLES AND VERY FEW WHO REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!!"
I HOPE I'M NOT COMING ACROSS AS BEING HARD ON YOU; THAT'S NOT MY INTENTION.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT OTHERS ON THE FORUM THINK BUT THAT'S MPO AS A ROVER TECH
OF 54 YEARS.
