[Rovernet] Spring compression tool

My 1970 3500S has just received new springs from Wadham’s and is awaiting Bushings. I have spoken to a number of mechanics regarding installation. Nobody will touch it. My Mechanic claims that after removing the from bumper and wings, There is a space issue dealing with the wheel wells. He claims a special, smaller tool is required. I have looked at several dozen on e Bay, and several people have made recommendations of inexpensive tools. I need to either find a tool brand that has been used successfully utilized by a Rover 3500S owner, or beg, borrow, buy one…
