So the long story is he needs: key blanks or a used column lock with keys or (dreaming) a new assembly. Part number in 1974 was 620179, 2200 used the same appearing assembly but with part number 620264.

The lock should use a single sided key as far as a blank goes. A company called Clark & Clark in Michigan makes blanks for the correct era of BL cars, but that doesn't mean they make the right one for Bob’s early A suffix car.

Even better would be the body shop finding the key, I’ve still got my fingers crossed for Bob on that.
