[Rovernet] Starter for 2000TC

Hello Robert/ Rovernet,
The Lucas number should be 25673 according to a Lucas original parts
catalog. Get a gear reduction one if you can locate one. I have fit one
to multiple Jaguars, 70's small block Ford engines and old air cooled
Porsches that were 6 volt.
Benefits are that the starter has less battery draw and they often turn
at a higher speed. Internal parts are not worn out from years of use. I
do have an early automatic one here, but do not think I have any others.
Good luck with your repairs, Garrett Bourque
