[Rovernet] 1958 Rover P4 105S for Sale - Cars & Bids

Geoff,
You could do some research on past online auction sales at
https://www.classic.com/m/rover/p4/. Cars and Bids seems to be an
obscure auction site compared to BAT and eBay, so it may not bring in
the same bidding competition, but who knows.

A couple years ago, I had sold a completely frame-off restored 53 to
California albeit with a non-original drivetrain for $10K. Having
restored two 53's and about to finish a P5B, I can attest that
mechanical parts, body and paint, and interior carpet/door panels/seats
altogether very easily adds up to over $6000-8000 while doing all the
work myself with zero (or negative!) labor compensation.

I know of 3 other 105's besides the two that Steve mentioned in New
England. One is in NM, one in Colorado, and I have the same 58 105S
serial 007 that I found in rural Texas last year that condition-wise is
the polar opposite of the one currently up for sale and essentially
worthless in need of a major investment to restore.

Jon
