P4 parts.
Could anyone use a P4 heater lever surround? It is made of black
plastic, with white lettering. Plastic has no cracks or damage, white
lettering is about 90 percent present. The white paint for MAX is scraped
off a little, at the right side of the heater lever slot. It is a nice
original part, off a car and on a shelf for years. It came from the estate
of the Rover mechanic that I used to work for here in Maine, USA. The
surround has a slot, with a raised arch shape molded into it, where the
temp lever slides left to right. Two holes are in it, for screws that hold
the surround to the bottom of the dash, when it is mounted. It is likely
off a LHD car from the USA. On either side of the centered groove for the
slide lever, there are 2 round knob holes. They are marked "Push and turn
air" on the left and "Pull to release Demist" on the right. I do not have
knobs or any lever parts, only the surround. Price Forty five dollars,
plus shipping. Contact me off Rovernet if you are interested.
Also for sale is a gas tank door from a P4. it has no rust and has a
hinge that moves freely. There is a lock and latch assembly still
installed, but I do not have the key for it. Good overall original shapem
with old faded white paint. $35 dollars.
Also for sale for a P4 Rover 105 is a Speedometer assembly. This was
removed from a car in the 1980's and stored inside. Included is a Smith's
box with the part number 5323/02 R on it. Mileage on the speedo is 45097.
Outstanding patina, no damage, works! bulb holder for illumination in the
back.
